An easy, allergy-free way to make ANY dish taste great is to spice things up with a few fresh herbs! While the dried and packaged herbs are, albeit, delicious, there is no comparing no the full monty: FRESH, DELICIOUS HERBS.
However, we all know that gluten-free cooking is already a bit more expensive than its wheat counterpart, and fresh herbs definitely cost more than dried ones because of their perishable nature.
I learned this from a native New York friend– simply place your fresh herbs in the freezer, and they will keep for several weeks instead of just several days. What’s more, is that they quickly thaw out. Just wash, chop, heat… whatever! Voila: fresh flavor that is VERY alive, not dried, and Bubble Child approved.
