Inspiration: FDA finally passes Gluten-Free guidelines

yaaaaayyyyy, Government!!  After taking a cue from Europe, the FDA finally passed their official regulations of what constitutes labeling for “Gluten-Free”.

See the official updates here.

While the labeling will not actually take place until 2012, it will ensure that any food labeled “Gluten-Free” will not contain more than 20 parts per million of gluten, which is the lowest delectable amount in a lab.

You can voice your opinion on these new rulings at regulations.gov and enter docket number FDA-2005-N-0404.

Life just keeps getting easier and easier for us Bubble Children.  …Or at least easier to navigate!
