Since it’s the weekend, and it’s official Fall, I’m sure you’re in the mood for something cozy, something a little sweet, something a little salty. Creamy, perhaps?

Here’s an easy way to comfort-foods-ville, sans cooking: simply soak 1/2 cup gluten-free oats in 3/4 cup your favorite dairy-free milk (I used vanilla hemp) for about 30 minutes, or until all liquid is soaked up. Spoon into serving bowl, top with 1 more tablespoon milk, drizzle with honey, a pinch sea salt, 1 heaping tbs. homemade hemp seed butter or sunflower seed butter, and about 3 tsp. your favorite fruit preserves. (Serves one.)
