Some Things Are Too Spooky Good To Not Take Pictures Of.

A mythological creature in my mouth.  A superstition covered in glitter.  A sugar-coating worth eating.  How is this gluten-free, again??

This is Petunia’s Pies and Pastries Halloween line of treats.  All gluten- and dairy-free!

<–If only they weren’t as tasty as they are good-looking, I might have been able to save more than just the wrapper of this donut for you all to have a photo of.

And why is there glitter on my chin?

<–another Oh.

For those of you living in Portland, might I suggest some of the best gluten-free baked goodies to make your haunted holiday more “treat” than “trick”– her products are all dairy and gluten-free, with options for all walks of Bubble Children, of the nut-averse and tolerable, alike.  The donut and caramel brownie bar (top right in photo) were out of this world, and not exclusive to the Halloween set.

To make your own version of ghoulish cupcake, try on my Devil’s Food Cake for size, to bring a little sweetness to your inner Bubble Child trick-or-treater in your own home kitchen.

Petunia’s Pies and Pastries are available at the Saturday Portland Farmer’s Market, Elephant’s Delis, and several Whole Foods in Oregon.  Check out more retailers and online ordering at
